Hey guys,
I've been looking for a way to calculate convex and concave information and write it to point color. There's a Max plugin that does it:
http://rpmanager.com/plugins/TensionMod.htm [rpmanager.com]
I was thinking to walk through each point in an object and calculate the angle between connected edges. The wider the angle the more convex, the narrower the angle the more concave.
I've tried it with a group node using Edges Min Edge Angle, but it doesn't differentiate between convex/concave.
I was looking at a Pointvop node but i dont know how to access attached edges/polygons to a given point.
I'm just starting to learn Houdini so maybe there is a totally different approach to this.
Can someone point me to the right direction?
Cheers!
